Plenty of Fish, known as POF is one of the online dating and social media platforms which you can use for finding or getting your perfect match. POF is available on both Android and Apple devices. It is a Canadian online dating service, popular primarily in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Brazil, and the United States. It is available in nine languages. If you are already a registered user of POF but you forgot your account details, then here are the steps to reset your POF password.
How to reset your POF password
Step 1: To reset your POF password, go to the Login Help page and complete the verification process that works best for you.
Step 2: Select Forgot password at the bottom of the login page.
Step 3: Select how you want to verify your account, via email.
Step 4: If you picked the email option, continue to the next step. If you chose email, follow the prompts to log in to your email account.
Step 4: Locate the verification code from the email, and enter it on POF’s site.
Step 6: Follow any other on-screen prompts.
Once you have successfully recovered access to your account, change the POF password to whatever you like (and will remember); it is best to use a strong password.
If you don’t have access to either email address, you can’t recover access to your POF account through the automated process. Your next step is to seek help from POF Help. POF support may ask for information to verify your identity, such as the last password you can remember.
Can’t reset POF password
If you’re unable to reset your password, you may be providing incorrect information to verify that you are the individual who owns the account. For security reasons, POF won’t allow you to reset your password if:
- The email address you’ve provided isn’t associated with your POF account
- You don’t have access to the email account or mobile device associated with your POF account
- You don’t know the email address or phone number associated with your POF account
Unless you can remember and gain access to the email account or mobile device associated with your POF account, there’s really nothing you or POF can do to recover the account.

How to change your POF password
You can rest your password within your account too, any time you want, as long as you know what your current password is. Here’s how
To change your POF password:
Step 1: Open the Plenty Of Fish, and log in if prompted.
Step 2: Select your name at the top of the page, and go to Account Info. In the POF dashboard, select the menu next to your name at the top of the page, choose Account Info, then select Next.
Step 3: On the Personal info page, go to Account security.
Step 4: In the how you sign in section, choose the Change password link.
Step 4: In the New password text box, type a new, secure password. In the Confirm new password text box, enter the password again to confirm that it was typed correctly.
Step 5: Select Continue.
Step 6: Lastly, Click Save changes
