How to Delete Paymaya Transaction History | Clear Activity

Paymaya is an online financial service that allows you to pay and receive money online from friends, family, business associates, and more using a secure internet account. Paymaya records every last transaction you make on the platform. They make this transaction history available so you can review your payment anytime you want.

If you have the Paymaya account you know that you can view all of your transaction histories on demand by clicking the clock icon in the bottom-right corner and opening the Activity tab. If you navigate further you’ll also find out that there is no way to delete this history. When you click on a payment option it simply shows payment details and says if it’s pending or completed.

That being said, it means that deleting your Paymaya transaction history is not possible, you can’t completely remove your payment activities (only move it to archives), especially since the government made a financial policy that regulates how monetary transactions are recorded and kept. The Archive button helps you streamline the “My Recent Activity” section and keep your transactions for quick reference. You’ll also find an option to download your history.

If you don’t even want to see your Paymaya transactions history in which case I would suggest you delete your whole account and create a new one as there’s no need to make them private because they already are, but before you start the process it’s important that you download your transaction report.

How to Download Paymaya Transaction History

You can download your Paymaya transaction history into PDF, Quicken, Quickbooks file, or TAB.

Here’s how to download an activity report of your transaction history:

Step 1. Visit the Paymaya website and log in to your account

Step 2. Go to Activity.

Step 3. Click Statements on the right of the page, then click Custom.

Step 4. Select the transaction type, date range, and file format.

Step 5. Click Create Report and wait a while 

Step 6. When the report is ready, click Download.

Once you’re sure you want to delete your Paymaya account and have finished downloading your transaction history, it’s time to start the process, however, this can only be done from the web. You will not be able to delete your Paymaya account from the mobile app.

How to Delete Paymaya Account 

Step 1. Log into your account on Paymaya.com.

Step 2. Click the Settings icon in the top right.

Step 3. Under Account Options, click Close your account.

Step 4. If requested, enter your bank account information

Step 5. Click Close account and you’ll be requested to login again.

Once finished, your account will be deleted and everything associated with it permanently deleted. Now you can create a new account.

Paymaya Sign Up

Here’s what you’ll do in order to create a new Paymaya account that looks exactly the same as the deleted ones. (First, you’ll need to have access to the phone number and email your account is linked to).

Step 1. Write down on paper all your account information (phone number, address, card information, etc) Including your profile picture, and transfer all your money on your Paymaya balance to your secondary or bank account.

Step 2. Switch your primary email address to something else and remove your old email address and then delete the account.

Step 3. Now create a new Paymaya account with your real email. Validate your phone number and email address and update all your info to match the one in your old Paymaya (all the info you noted down) Including the profile picture, linked bank, and cards.

Step 4. Then transfer the money back from your secondary account or bank account.

Note that deleting your Paymaya account does not prevent a lawful investigation of your transactions if your account is discovered to have been used for any fraudulent or suspicious activities.

How to Check Your PayMaya Transaction History

Your most recent activity will appear in the “Recent activity” section on the Summary page.

You can see the status of all Paymaya transactions in your account history. Your transaction history includes the date, transaction type, name, status, and the amounts associated with each transaction. To see your payment or transactions status, here’s how to check the status of a payment:

Step 1. Click Activity at the top of the page.

Step 2. Scroll to the transaction in the menu list. 

Step 3. Click Activity at the top of the page.

Step 4. The status of your transaction will be listed below the recipient’s name.

How to Track PayMaya Transaction With Tracking Number

Follow these steps:

1. Access your PayMaya account.

2. Click the Activities menu option.

3. Select Transaction ID in the search drop-down menu.

4. Enter the transaction ID and press Enter.

5. View the transaction details.

How Check PayMaya Balance Via SMS & Online

1. Send BAL to 29290 7969.

2. You will receive an SMS with your updated balance.

To check your Paymaya balance online all you’d have to do is go to the PayMaya website — or open the mobile app on your iPhone or Android if you prefer to check there — and log into your account.

Assuming you have the ability to carry a balance, even if your current balance is 0, it will be listed on the left-hand side of your main account page for desktop, or on the primary account screen for mobile users.

However, there is a bit of a catch: If you aren’t seeing a “PayMaya balance” section on your main account page, it’s because you don’t have a Cash or Cash Plus account. 

You may not have those if you’ve had your account for a while, as those account types are relatively new to PayMaya. In that case, you’ll need to set up a new account first.

If you accept payments online, issuing a refund from time to time is an inevitable part of doing business. If you need to refund a PayMaya transaction, you can do so in just a few steps from your “Activity” page:

1. Choose the transaction.

2. Select “Issue a refund.”

3. Enter the refund amount.

4. Select “Issue refund.”

How Long Does a PayMaya Refund Take?

PayMaya can process refunds the same day they are issued, depending on the original payment method. Because PayMaya sends refunds back through the same payment method used for the original transaction, it can take different amounts of time for the funds to show up.

Where Do I Report PayMaya Transactions?

There are two ways to report an unauthorized transaction or error: through the Resolution Center or by sending an email to PayMaya. If you choose to report through the Resolution Center, follow the steps below:

1. Log into your PayMaya account.

2. Click on the Resolution Center.

3. Click on Open a dispute for a transaction.

4. Select the unauthorized transaction and click Continue.

To report PayMaya transaction through email, submit the Purchase Dispute Form along with the required documents to disputes@paymaya.com.

How to Cancel PayMaya Transaction

1. Log into your PayMaya account.

2. Click Activity at the top of the page.

3. Select All Transactions.

4. Find the payment and click Cancel.

5. On the next page, click Cancel Payment.
