It’s been discovered that Likee will estimate your location using your IP address, even if you turn off location tracking. User activity on Likee lets you check into venues or tag venues (for which it likely knows the street address and type of establishment) when you share content. You can change location on Likee with any device.
How to Change Location on Likee
The simplest way to change Likee region is by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Express VPN, Tunnel Bear changes your internet traffic through an intermediary server located in a country of your choice. It can cover your actual IP address and replace it with one from your chosen country, thus spoofing your current location.
1. If you haven’t already, Create Likee account.
2. Install and set up the VPN you would like to use.
3. Use the VPN software to connect your computer to a VPN server located in the country where you want to access Likee.

How Can Likee Track Your Location?
Likee uses location information, such as your device’s GPS signal, and connection information, such as your Wi-Fi connection or IP address (Internet protocol address) to track your location. Likee says it helps them understand where you are.
The IP address Likee uses is the unique number assigned to your device, such as a phone or computer, that allows it to communicate over the Internet. These numbers are set according to standard guidelines, or protocols. Like someone will need a postal address to receive a letter from a friend, your device needs a digital address to receive information on the Internet.
When your Location services is off, Likee may still estimate your location using check-ins, events, and information about your Internet connection. It uses this information to provide more relevant and personalized experiences, monitors your account, and provides ads according to your area.
